Is this blown out of porportion?

Is she already in the apartment, were you going to become a roommate in an apartment she already rents? If so unless you two have signed a legally binding agreement for you to share the rent, you are out of luck. I am not saying it is right. Morally she should reimburse you for at least half of the $100, but legally you don't have a leg to stand on.
