What is up with Kristen Stewart's management?

Adults only please. I'm seriously wondering if she's always acted like this or if for some reason, Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson are being encouraged to act like they're high? The hair and the twitchiness of both of them is a touch bizarre. I know they're not used to such attention, but it's like they chugged an energy drink and snorted a line or two before every single interview. Any thoughts? Does this behavior fit in somehow with the characters of Edward and Bella? They both seem incredibly awkward from what I've seen, which is actually a bit endearing - that's what makes me wonder if it's actually an intentional display... ? What do the rest of you think?
