For EVERYONE: Do any of us have a reason to object to religion when it is actually doing some good for someone

We need to ask ourselves...are there some religions that are doing more harm than good? Yes, of course there are. But what is to be done? Where do we go from here? Too many are not willing to face the elephant sitting in the living room, whether it be family problems or problems that stem from their religion. For me, it's hard not to hate when lies are told over and over again and sickness festers in the minds of entire families and no-one is willing to acknowledge it. Your right, we don't have a reason to hate one another in the grand scheme of things. Sadly, until we deal with ourselves and our own issues, we will experience harm and hate to others and to ourselves.

How should i dump my friend?

I have had a friend, whos in my cl for 2 years now. We didnt use to be that close, it was more just a happy coincidence that we went to school together. Anyways we took the bus together and hung out a bit along with other clmates at each others houses. We had a good time back in the early days, but after a while she started "demanding" more from me. It has been like this for this entire year and i culminated a couple of months ago with a huge fight. I have since "made peace" with her, but its only for the sake of school (me having to see her). I have since realised a few things.. She is a very insecure person who displays this by acting like a *****, she only talks about herself along with a bunch of crap about other people, and she is overall very demanding (i feel like she never leaves me alone and has bad mood swings if you dont act like she wants you too) We graduate in 2 weeks and after that i feel like i never want to see this person again. How do i break things off? She will not understand or accept this and probably try to har me on facebook or other websites. She can be a very cruel person (despite me knowing this is due to insecurity i still hurt from it) In a way, i dont even feel like explaining anything to her about how i perceive her, i really dont even care about her that much.

I have tried target and a local grocery store but almost all of the formula has DHA in it.. My little youngster is allergic to it and his formula has been held up in processing (don't know exactly what this means but I cant get it for a few days)... Hey I know what you mean - I'm not in exactly the same situation because I have 2 kids & my family has allowed me to live with them but I totally get it. The best thing I can say to do, knowing how its sometimes either hard or completely impossible to get out & around is to just try two things: meet online buddies and try really hard to get out in your town and meet just one person somewhere. Dont appear too needy or desperate but just kind of be really chilled out about it. I have found that even if you find just one person for a little while, that'll help you get by until the next one comes along.

Is there a plastic surgery that can re-pierce ears after plastic surgery to remove keloids?

I had keloids on my ears and had plastic surgery to remove them. I'm a jewelry sales person and it kills me that I can't market the product by wearing it. Converting everything to clip ons is a hle and the pinching/squeezing effect is wearing on me. I know that I cannot re-pierce my ears myself or the keloids will grow back. I plan on going to film school for screenwriting. Eating, you can get by with attire you talk about. Don't wear a Tee or shorts. The airport is a breeze coming in. Pay the $10 entry fee and walk right in. They don't check your baggage knowing you came on a plane from the USA. Now leaving is a different story. They x-ray your luggage for the US agriculture and that's it. You still clear customs on the USA for now. If you are flying out on a Saturday, get to the airport 3.5 hours ahead of your flight. Yep, you heard me right. The area has more that 50 all-inclusive resorts and allot of people go Saturday to Saturday and the crowd is unbelievable on a Saturday. Worst I have seen anywhere and I am well traveled. No formal lines, lots of aircraft leaving between 2PM and 4PM and its just one m of humans attempting to working their way to the counter. Again if your leaving on Saturday, check in early and go out for lunch or something. By the way, other than the airport issues leaving, I love Punta Cana. Great Beaches and resorts are excellent.

Dry callused hands! How to fix?

I'm a swimmer so my skin gets very dry. Two lotions that are very good are Vaseline Intensive Rescue moisture locking lotion and supposedly Gold Bond is really good too. I bought so many bottles of the Vaseline stuff and my skin isn't itchy and its soft. I feel like even if you don't buy that specific one, vaseline is really good in general. My dad claims he loves the stuff too for his hands so it's male approved ;)

In the old testament there were examples of men who married multiple women (usually the king). In the new testament there are no such examples. The only specific scriptures is several commands to deacons, overseers and elders to have only one wife and have a well mannered family. Jesus said "any man who divorces his wife and marries another women commits adultery and the man who marries a divorced women commits adultery." That page makes it clear that only one man and one women are married at a time. The reason I can think why in the other pages by the apostles it spells out rules for decans, elders and over seers is that there might have been men who already were married to multiple women (who were gentiles) when they converted. That was kind of a grandfather clause. God's people are supposed to either chooses a life of celebite service or married to one person of the opposite . I think this is pretty clear to me.

Automatic seems to go into nutral as im just driving?

i just put a cat back on my car, and was told that my cat was clogged, im waiting to order a new high flow cat, but in the mean time i was just driving and my car felt like it was trying to stop it self as i was just coasting. and also it reved on its own almost like it was changing gears on its own. granted i know automatics do it on their own but i was just slow driving about 40 mph and the rpm's jumped sometimes almost to redline. then it went back to normal. later on in the day i was driving the same way and the rpms reved and i pushed the gas and rpms jumped with the gas but car would not move. then it came back and drove normal. got to where i was going and checked the fluid and it smelt like ****, and was like brown. i just had my rebuilt not even a year ago. my warranty is up i think, but i needed to get home and on my way home same thing but it was in (nutral) for longer so i pulled over and then started again it went and then did the same thing again. wtf

I have been retrieving email smoothly for months, and a few days ago I noticed my email volume plummetted. When I logged into my verizon mail, I found my lost mail. It looks as though the verizon account is not letting my email go. When the Mac Mail attempts to get mail, the program tells me it is downloading X# of emails, then nothing. So, I think my Mac is seeing the mail in the Verizon acct, but cannot get at it any more. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Letting go of negative self-beliefs?

despite the praise and compliments i might receive by friends and those close to me i can't help but think that they're just sparing my feelings. however if someone (who either is or isn't close to me) has a dissenting opinion about me, i'll hold on to it, dwell on it, about it, and probably accept it as the truth. I can't help but think that anything negative about me is the honest truth. My therapists have told me that my beliefs are not based in reality, but I think that their convoluted methods are only trying to distract me from the truth. I'm told to have more faith in myself and i know that it would probably make me happier, but i also see faith in weak people. why am i so determined to hold on to these beliefs? Do I want to suffer? Have I been brainwashed by negative people? I'm sick of being avoidant and avoiding life.. I'm sick of not being able to open up to those close to me, including my parents. being stuck in this avoidant rut. it's a rut, but it's a comfortable one. except it's not helping me MOVE ON. so how can i move on with my life already? i'm 20 years old for god sake.

Prednisolone tablets 50mg during pregnancy? Suddenly stopped taking them.. help?

Hello.. I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with my third child i take 7.5 mg of prednisolone a day. I also took prednisolone throughout my whole pregnancy with my second child as i have a immunodeiciency disorder and she turned out perfectly healthy in every way so far! My doctor told me it is very important to not stop taking prednisolone suddenly as your body needs to be weened from it i would get to doctor or chemist as soon as you can so you can go get some more. That is an extremely high dose to be taking during pregnancy but as long as your doctor was aware you were pregnant when he put you on it you should be fine and if its only for a short time. This may not be what you are hoping for but you may have to get him a wrist or a backpack that has a rope on it. I know i know people hate them but I think i would be better to keep him near you then worry about what others think. I was a wanderer when i was little and i remember having a mini mouse one. Be yourself as in, don't be so self-conscious all of the time. Their Eyes Were Watching God is a really good book-I haven't read the others. Hurston is very good at diction, unlike so many authors, but it can be hard to follow at first. Keep with it if you can. It has one of my favorite opening lines, and forgive me if I remember it wrong, something like: "Ships at a distance have every man's wish on board." Kinda deep, don't you think? Rascism in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?

A question of neglect....?

Not quite the same as a baby going missing but my teenaged daughter once ran away from home. I imediately called the police to report her missing within a few hours after she was expected home. The police told me I had to wait at least 24 hours to make a missing persons report. I did and a few days later she was pick up as a run away. According to my state law, if I had not reported her missing I would have been charged with willful neglect and and abuse. What gives with Casey? Whirring sound on subaru, is this normal?

I can tell you that I myself like to follow more holistic approaches to regulate mood, but if you feel your efforts aren't enough it may be time to seek professional help. I would highly suggest cognitive behavioral therapy and researching how anxiety works. Anxiety is triggered more so by thoughts rather than an initial physical response. I do know it can be crippling and hard to get control of, so given what you have tried you may need some outside help. Just remember that you are in control either way, so try doing stuff to distract you and make you feel better. Drink a lot of water and try to think of positive things like good or kittens playing with yarn or something. In any case, do your research online about cognitive behavioral therapy because it has been shown to help with very complex psychological and emotional problems. I have anxiety attacks that make me feel like my throat is closing, but I try to calm down, exercise, and realize that it's the fact that I'm freaking myself out and I'm actually okay in reality. I'd say either go with 1" or 1 1/4" curling iron, those will give you big loose waves. Use a heat setting product like Redken Head Sets & spray each strand before you roll it up. ANd then when you take it down, pin it up until it cools. That will help you keep your curl onger. As for the iron, I'd probably recommend the ceramic, although I havent used that brand.

Installing 2 amps need help!?

Cats and vomiting a sure fire standing room only lecture at vet conferences. If the vet cannot find a physiological problem, food and hair have been ruled out then it may well be psychological. At 12 years old he has had multiple traumas in his life and vomiting may be the behavioral response. If you are grooming, he is eating, drinking and pooping in the box he may just need a bit of time to adjust.

My kitten won't use the litterbox anymore?

My kitten MiMi is about 8 months old and has used the litterbox no problem. Then we got a new kitten about 2 months ago, Nala, and she's almost 5 months old and Nala has used the litterbox fine also. Then about a month ago MiMi had been pooping outside of the litterbox right in front of it or behind it. The litterbox has been in the same spot since we moved in our apartment. MiMi never made a mess of the litterbox but everyday I clean it there is litter everywhere, pee and poop outside of the litterbox. Both MiMi and Nala eat the same cat food, Purina Kitten Chow, and they get fresh water everyday. I live in a 3rd floor apartment so they are strictly indoors at all times. Both are happy, playful, and love each other to pieces. Why this sudden change of behavior? Also, just a little while ago after I cleaned the litterbox, MiMi pooped outside of it. Everytime she does this she comes and sits in front of me until I go in to look. When I was cleaning it up there was a little blood clot. What could this be and is it something really serious? Going to the vet is out of the question right now. I have yet to pay half my bills and Nala's last vet bill hit my wallet hard because she was sick. We adopted both kittens from the spca so they are spayed already. Nala was just 2 months old when she was spayed and MiMi was 3 months. So their definitely not in heat. My friend has one and yes she is loud. She also developed a separation problem, started plucking feathers out. Bought another bird to keep her company, although the plucking stopped, the loudness hasnt. I guess it's just about how much you spend time with it, and how much noise you can tollerate. Why does my wife always yell at me?

My wife stays at home with the kids. She always yells at me for every little thing. I'm bitter towards my girlfriend?

Well, I've been with this girl for a while now. I used to feel pionate love for her, and our relationship was strong. But, she got restless and ran off with my best friend. I was devastated. Well, to answer your question, the only time I hear the myth is on the internet, so I never take it seriously. Honestly, I always find it quite funny. As for guys having views on females farting, they're actually well-aware of the fact because we're human and also have intestines. In fact, because they take female flatulence to be disgusting, and females in generally to be great and arousing, they try not to ociate the two in the same instance because it can be a turn-off. Nonetheless, think about it, aren't you sure they had females in the family that could have farted around them? lol. If not, then they were SUPER secret about it. Buying the white preconstructed deck from magic 2010 core set will help you a lot since it will add you cards like honor of the pure and elite vanguard, adding red to deck is fine in small dosis so you can splash cards like lighting bolt. Just note that making it a 3 color deck will slower it a lot since with white you want to play small and fast creatures. You made a good choice with your starter deck, stick with it and buy and get more cool white cards, buying 2 of the same starter deck helps too, two white zendikar decks and 2 magic 2010 white ones will help you make a solid strong deck, splashing red then its an option.

Then he has been fighting for 5 weeks/3 weeks (also not good I thought) NOW, he wants to meet TONIGHT and discuss him just seeing our son when he visits here, sometimes a week and a half to 2 weeks at a time (which Im totally fine with since I can go see our son for a few hours every couple days or whatever) So, a little help folks, whats up this mans sleeve this time?? I'd love to trust him but the sneaky, underhanded things he has done these past couple months to get me to agree to let our son go back and forth like that have not sat well in rebuilding any trust I might have had. To summerize, I WANT him to have a relationship with his dad, I want him to be with his dad as mush as 50 percent custody would allow, but its physically impossible with dad moving to another State. Can dogs get bed sores?

I just rescued a dog and he has sores on his right where he would sit. He also has them on his front legs. They are hard and callused no hair grows on them and they stick up a little bit and are about the size of a quarter. They dont seem to bother him much but they look really bad. The best starting pokemon is a turtwig and evolves into a torterra that is my pokemon and it rox. your team is probably a 5 its not the best but it could be better, i would eveolve more of your pokemon into the highest level then level them up more. this takes time but it is deffiatly worth the extra time you put into it. hope this helped

Can someone help me with alteration of generations?

I'm taking Biology 11 in summer school so we pretty much whizz by everything and up to a few days ago it was fairly easy, but now we've gotten to the plant unit, and it's getting really difficult. The teacher doesn't really go over everything that detailed so I have like no idea what's going on with this alteration of generations. I'm still knew to playing paintball, and am planning on getting a Azodin Kaos Marker. I was told that what you need to get for that gun to make it good, is a longer barrel then the stock one, a ACT hopper (anti-chop-technology), and a regulated air tank. The thing is that the only regulated air tanks i've found run only on High Presurized Air, and not CO2. So, the question is, will my Kaos run on HPA? and how do you find out whether it does or not? Hiya, my husband has degenerative disks in his back and bone damage to his knees, which often mean he can't walk or move at all. We filled in the forms for Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and we received a letter today, asking my Husband to attend an examination with their Doctor next month. As we have never done this before, I am wondering if anyone knows what to expect from this meeting, what questions they will ask etc. Are they very different to normal Doctors/Specialists in terms of what they want to know?
