Can I make my school pay for my car alignment?

On the 1st day of school, I was driving my car in the school parking lot, and there was a pothole about 1 foot deep and 2 feet wide, and it was filled with water, and when i drove over it, it knocked my car out of alignment. Is there any way I can make them pay to have it realigned? I live in Florida if that makes any difference.
