Would having these colors in my room clash with the carpet?

Im hoping to redo my room, switching everything to black and white, and just add color, like a funky bedspread and painted frames, etc. But i got to thinking...what about the carpet? If everything were black and white, would anything besides white/black clash? Right now its like a taupe-ish white with darker...stuff in it? sorry, im not the best at describing carpet! But you get the idea? Do you think it'd be alright? Or should i try to change it? And do you know of any good bed frames that are solid white or black (can have metal legs) metal-like beds(metal headboard)? Grazie!
